Position Summary: We are seeking a full-time, permanent Legionella Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves conducting assessments on various sites, primarily within central Scotland, with occasional travel across the UK.

Career Development: This position offers a pathway for professional growth, with the potential to advance into a supervisory or leadership role for the right candidate in the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant industry standards and guidelines, including Acop L8, HSG 274 Parts 1, 2 & 3, BS 8580 for Legionella Risk Assessment, and Water Regulations.
  • Conduct thorough problem-solving and diagnostics of water and plumbing systems on-site, providing recommendations for necessary remedial actions or maintenance.
  • Create precise schematic diagrams and drawings of site water systems.
  • Collaborate with the helpdesk team to ensure timely completion of workload and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites across the UK, including potential overnight stays.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in performing site-based risk assessments.
  • City & Guilds certification in Risk Assessment for Legionella Control in water systems or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • A valid UK Driving License is required for this mobile role.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is £26,000 - £33,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include a company van, fuel card, and 33 days of holiday. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
