Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Lockton's European and International Corporate social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram, by crafting captivating and pertinent content tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with the social media agency and the Head of Communications to refine the social media strategy and playbook, ensuring optimization for outcomes and alignment with the current digital landscape.
  • Conduct weekly social media planning, integrating both evergreen and campaign content, while establishing a comprehensive social media content calendar.
  • Manage paid social media initiatives for pivotal Corporate campaigns and bolster B2B marketing efforts.
  • Partner with Marketing leaders to create social communications that align with B2B business and marketing goals, in accordance with our overarching social strategy.
  • Engage with HR and Talent teams to highlight talent attraction initiatives, collaborating with Employee Resource Groups to showcase Lockton's endeavors.
  • Take ownership of the social media content strategy for the UK, Europe, and International markets, working in tandem with stakeholders to ensure effective content delivery.
  • Assess social content performance on LinkedIn and Instagram monthly, utilizing insights to inform a 4-week content calendar, continuously testing, learning, and optimizing. Provide regular updates to the broader organization regarding impact.
  • Assist the Head of Communications in curating the CEO's social media calendar and content.
  • Work in conjunction with the global team to ensure that the content needs for the UK and Europe are duly considered.
  • Collaborate with design and creative teams to produce visually compelling campaigns and content that prioritize social media.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging platforms to enhance social media presence and effectiveness.
  • Utilize design tools like Canva to create basic social media posts and craft engaging copy for those posts.
  • Engage in web and social listening to identify trending content, conversations, topics, events, and news.
  • Monitor social channels in real-time to uncover strategic opportunities and flag potential challenges.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

  • Substantial experience on the agency side or within a brand, focusing on developing social media creative, editing content, and engaging with audiences.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems such as Sprinklr.
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media best practices.
  • Proficient in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capability to design using Canva.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in planning and overseeing social media channels.
  • Credible presence with the ability to positively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to work independently when necessary, coupled with strong collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
