About the Role

The City Council is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their Development Management Team as a Graduate Planning Enforcement Officer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to start their local planning career and gain valuable experience in investigating breaches of planning control.

The successful candidate will have good organisational skills, a willingness to learn about all aspects of the planning system, and excellent customer service.

Previous experience is not necessary, but the candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

About the Team

The Development Management Team is responsible for ensuring that development in the district is carried out in accordance with the City Council's policies and procedures.

The team works closely with other departments, including planning, building control, and environmental health, to ensure that development is safe, sustainable, and meets the needs of the community.

The team is committed to delivering excellent customer service and providing a high-quality service to the public.
