We are excited to present an opportunity for an Arboriculture Operations Manager to oversee our Green Estate initiatives within our flagship contract. This position entails leading a team of subcontractors while nurturing the development of our staff. The role encompasses comprehensive management of Green Estate operations, including both scheduled and responsive arboricultural and horticultural maintenance.

Key Responsibilities of the Arboriculture Operations Manager include:

- Overseeing routine tasks such as grass maintenance, hedge trimming, weed management, and care for shrub and planted areas, alongside conducting annual surveys and tree planting initiatives.

- Keeping the Operations Manager and clients informed about all aspects related to contract execution.

- Collaborating with clients and internal teams from the initial planning stages through to project completion.

- Assisting in the management of the permitting process on public roads and engaging with relevant stakeholders.

- Supervising the management of core service works within the Green Estate program.

- Coordinating various subcontractors performing tasks on behalf of the company, providing clear instructions, monitoring their performance, and managing financial reconciliations.

Required Skills and Experience:

We seek a qualified Green Estate Management Supervisor with a robust background in horticulture and arboriculture, along with familiarity with NEC, JCT, and ICE contracts. Candidates should possess NRSWA Supervisor qualifications, as well as SMSTS and CSCS certifications at gold level or higher. A valid UK driving license is mandatory.
