Trainee Green Estate Supervisor

About the Role:

The Trainee Green Estate Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all aspects of Green Estate delivery, including cyclical and reactive arboriculture and horticultural maintenance. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our depot in South London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising cyclical activities such as grass cutting, hedge cutting, weed control, shrub and planted area maintenance, annual tree & shrub surveys, tree planting as well as any arb/hort reactive works
  • Ensuring that the Core Services Manager, Planner and client are kept up to date and informed of all matters relating to the delivery of the contract
  • Supporting clients and internal departments from the pre-planning and pre-programming of works through to their completion
  • Assisting in the application and management of the permitting process on roads and liaising with stakeholders
  • Overseeing the programme management of the green estate core service works
  • Supervising various sub-contractors carrying out work on behalf of FM Conway, providing task instructions, monitoring performance and reconciling accounts

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for horticulture and arboriculture
  • A full UK driving license
  • A degree in Construction Management or industry-based experience
