Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Franchise Brands plc. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our IT team and other departments across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server and Cloud Administration: Manage and maintain our server and cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and high availability.
- Group Wide Support and Problem Management: Provide technical support and assistance to our IT team and other departments across the company, resolving technical issues and implementing solutions.
- Implementing and Testing Disaster Recovery Plans: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster or system failure.
- Assisting and Upskilling Junior Members of the Team: Mentor and train junior members of the IT team, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

- Ensuring the Smooth Running of the IT Function Group Wide: Ensure the smooth operation of our IT function across the company, providing technical support and assistance as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in IT Support and Implementation of Microsoft Products: Proven experience in IT support and implementation of Microsoft products, including Windows, Office, and other Microsoft technologies.
- Azure/Cloud Experience: Experience with Azure and cloud-based technologies, including cloud infrastructure, migration, and management.
- Infrastructure and Networking: Experience with infrastructure and networking technologies, including server, storage, and network administration.
- Strong Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide technical support and assistance to non-technical staff.
- Microsoft 365 Suite: Experience with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Office 365, Exchange, and other Microsoft 365 technologies.
Desirable:
- Microsoft/IT Qualifications: Relevant Microsoft or IT qualifications, such as Microsoft Certified Professional or ITIL Foundation.
- Previous Support of International Locations: Experience supporting international locations, including managing and implementing IT solutions across multiple time zones and cultures.
- European Spoken Languages: Fluency in one or more European languages, including English, French, German, or Spanish.
- Incident Management: Experience with incident management, including identifying, reporting, and resolving technical issues.
- Change Management: Experience with change management, including planning, implementing, and testing changes to IT systems and infrastructure.
- Kubernetes: Experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, management, and scaling of containerized applications.
- Cyber Security Knowledge: Knowledge of cyber security principles and best practices, including threat analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation.
- Microsoft Intune and Defender: Experience with Microsoft Intune and Defender, including device management, security, and compliance.
