About the Role

The London Borough of Newham is seeking a highly skilled Correspondence and Appeals Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Parking Service, you will be responsible for ensuring that Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) enquiries and representations are responded to within statutory time-frames and in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and respond to PCN representations, appeals, and enquiries in line with legislation and council policies.
  • Prepare case summaries and evidence packs for adjudication hearings.
  • Manage your own caseload and provide support to other team members as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

About You

We are looking for an individual with previous experience in the Parking industry and a proven track record of dealing with Parking-related correspondence and/or complaints. However, training will be provided for the right candidate. You will have excellent IT and administration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
