Job Title: Residential Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Residential Development Manager to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. As a key member of our property management company, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our residential estates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a 1.7 million service charge budget, with training provided
  • Oversee the development of a 387-unit project
  • Deliver effective service levels and represent the company towards customers, clients, and developers
  • Identify and deliver ongoing training needs to support the team
  • Monitor and manage performance, setting guidelines and managing holiday/sickness absences
  • Effective cost control and review of expenditure and accounts
  • Hold proactive customer/contractor and client meetings
  • Investigate and respond to complaints
  • Undertake required risk assessments, health and safety checks, and routine testing requirements
  • Support with the monitoring and supervision of contractors
  • Carry out regular inspection audits of the site

Requirements:

  • Essential: previous people manager experience (2 years), driver's license
  • Desirable: budget and service charge accounting experience, level 2 or ATPI qualified
