Job Title: Residential Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Development Manager to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for delivering effective service levels and ensuring the smooth operation of our residential developments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a 7 million service charge budget, with training provided
  • Oversee the development of 387 residential units
  • Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company at customer, client, and developer meetings
  • Identify and deliver ongoing training needs to support the team
  • Monitor and manage performance, setting guidelines and managing holiday/sickness absences
  • Effectively control costs and review expenditure and accounts
  • Hold proactive customer and contractor meetings, ensuring issues are promptly addressed
  • Investigate and respond to complaints, collaborating with the Regional Manager as needed
  • Undertake risk assessments, health and safety checks, and routine testing requirements
  • Support the monitoring and supervision of contractors, ensuring high-quality works are delivered
  • Carry out regular inspection audits, taking remedial action as necessary

Requirements:

  • Essential: 2+ years of people management experience, driver's license
  • Desirable but not essential: budget and service charge accounting experience, Level 2 or ATPI qualification
