Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare and present dishes to the highest standards, working closely with the section head to ensure consistency and quality.
- To maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and hotel policies.
- To work efficiently and effectively during service, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
- To develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
- To take on additional responsibilities as required by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with hotel procedures and regulations.
- To contribute to the development of new menu items and culinary offerings, working collaboratively with the culinary team.
Key Skills:
- NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to a variety of menu styles.
- Able to multitask and maintain quality levels at all times, working well under pressure.
