Job Title: Head of Sales

Cento is seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our Fire & Intrusion sales team. As the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales strategies to increase market share for device and system sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team through strong leadership, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Implement and execute strategies for Fire & Intrusion sales to achieve annual profit targets, accelerate the sales pipeline, and provide accurate forecasting.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers to optimise team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Be a key advocate for Fire & Intrusion solutions, driving cross-team collaboration to capitalise on shared opportunities.
  • Set clear KPIs and objectives for sales individuals and the team, regularly monitoring and presenting progress to senior business leaders.
  • Capture account, opportunity, and activity data within CRM systems to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Embrace and promote the use of digital sales enablement tools to cultivate a digital-first mindset across the team.
Requirements:
  • A degree or higher education is preferred.
  • Proven success in sales management with at least 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
Skills:
  • Experience in B2B channel sales with a clear understanding of sales processes.
  • Proficiency with data and familiarity with CRM systems like Power BI, Salesforce, or Dynamics.
  • Knowledge of the fire and security industry is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to influence both direct reports and the wider organisation.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities to deliver value.
  • A team player with a consultative, detail-oriented, and driven mindset, alongside a positive, resilient, and energetic attitude.
  • Ability to set KPIs, manage performance, and present key metrics using data analysis.
