We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse and Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RMN & RNLD) to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. Our client is an independent provider of health and care services for young adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
Job Summary:
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse and Registered Learning Disability Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to younger adults in our community 7-bedded service based in Nottingham. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that our service users receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care to younger adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Support service users with challenging behaviors and complex needs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RMN or RNLD) qualification
- Valid NMC registration with no restrictions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Minimum of five years of experience in learning disability/autism/mental health/community/NHS or private care
- Strong team-working skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- High level of self-motivation and flexibility
- Positive attitude and natural caring and compassionate approach
- Commitment to high-quality care and values-based practice
