Are you a qualified IT educator seeking a rewarding opportunity?
Teaching Personnel is currently in search of a dedicated IT Instructor to work within a specialized educational setting.
Role: IT Educator
Location: Birmingham B36
Salary: £140 - £240 per day (Fully Qualified teachers compensated according to scale)
This dynamic and inclusive mixed SEND institution caters to students aged 5 to 16. Our aim is to cultivate each student's unique talents by offering a supportive, respectful, and achievement-focused environment. We prioritize addressing the individual needs of our students, enabling them to excel both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging IT lessons tailored for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and self-confidence.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for students.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain informed about best practices in SEND education.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification.
- Experience in teaching IT, preferably within a SEND context.
- Strong understanding of SEND and effective strategies for supporting diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students across various abilities.
