Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Analysis Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial planning and analysis functions within the organization. This position is ideal for a qualified accountant with a strong background in comprehensive budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Develop and present monthly consolidated financial reports, including detailed commentary and variance analysis.
  • Engage in financial modeling and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring effective cost management.
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc reporting to evaluate business performance.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of critical projects and focus areas.
  • Identify and assess key performance indicators to drive business insights.
  • Assist in crafting business cases and implementing strategic plans.
  • Create impactful presentation materials and documentation.
  • Provide executive support and contribute to project management initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including accruals, prepayments, and revenue recognition.
  • Expertise in financial planning, modeling, and analytical techniques.
  • Experience in managing budgeting and re-forecasting processes.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and visualizing large datasets.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing personnel.
  • Ability to document and map business processes effectively.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies and commercial concepts.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Exceptional data interpretation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong numerical skills and understanding of pricing compliance.
  • A commitment to fostering robust relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
