About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Howett Thorpe. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the finance team and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, revenue recognition, and payroll.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, consolidated and departmental level.
  • Ownership of the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements, including management of the annual audit process.
  • Submit VAT returns and assist with group corporate tax filings.
  • Review budget against performance and produce financial modeling on scenario-based planning.
Requirements
  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience.
  • People management experience and working knowledge of NetSuite would be beneficial.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
