The Recruitment Co. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will provide expert accounting guidance to our financial teams, ensuring timely and high-quality support for commercial projects and transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical accounting guidance to all parts of the business, including the preparation of accounting memorandums and aligning conclusions with auditors.
- Offer specific guidance on the application of IFRS 15/16 to all parts of the organization, liaising with the wider group operational and analysis teams.
- Draft application guidance for the group's financial reporting and governance manual.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), especially IFRS 15/16.
- Excellent analytical skills to research GAAP materials and determine appropriate accounting treatments.
- Ability to identify and diagnose potential reporting issues from reported information.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a large organization.
- ACA/ACCA qualification.
