Your responsibilities as Kitchen Supervisor will include:
- Collaborating closely with the head chef to manage inventory and food costs, while identifying ways to enhance profitability
- Overseeing all food preparation to ensure it meets our high standards
- Maintaining overall accountability for kitchen hygiene and safety protocols
- Training team members on proper food storage, rotation, and disposal practices, while monitoring compliance
- Managing food and labor costs effectively to achieve optimal margins
- Recruiting, training, and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure top-notch food quality and customer satisfaction
- Coaching front-of-house staff to ensure they possess thorough knowledge of menu items for superior guest service
- Ensuring adherence to company policies by conducting daily checks on food safety and health regulations
- Performing regular stock assessments and ensuring timely processing of invoices
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- A minimum of 18 months experience as a Kitchen Supervisor in a high-volume food service environment, with a strong passion for culinary excellence
- The ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
- Leadership skills that inspire and motivate the team through regular, engaging meetings
- A vision to lead and inspire the kitchen staff
- A desire to grow professionally within a reputable and expanding organization
