Position Overview: Interaction Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook Supervisor to join our culinary team. This role involves supporting the Executive Head Chef, Shift Head Chefs, and Sous Chefs in crafting exceptional and innovative dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals using fresh, premium ingredients.
- Contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment that serves a diverse community, including fellows, students, and staff.
- Participate in catering for various events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions.
- Inspire and mentor junior kitchen staff through effective leadership and training.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a creative flair, a robust work ethic, and a solid understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards. A background in catering, with NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent, along with a Food Hygiene certificate, is essential.
Employment Details: This is a permanent, full-time position, typically requiring 37.5 hours per week on a shift basis. The compensation package includes a competitive salary along with a shift allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package that features:
