Position Overview

The IT and Facilities Operations Leader plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of technology and facility management within the organization. This position is pivotal in driving operational efficiency and enhancing service quality across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee IT operations, providing first-level support for network systems, servers, client devices, and backup solutions.
  • Manage local communication services, including mobile devices and office supplies.
  • Collaborate with senior management on IT-related initiatives.
  • Assist corporate IT in planning and executing system upgrades and hardware enhancements.
  • Maintain active involvement in daily IT operations to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Analyze hardware usage and user needs to optimize resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular IT audits and maintain an updated asset database.
  • Ensure local IT operations are reliable and efficient.
  • Supervise maintenance activities for the office premises, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Manage reception, security, and switchboard operations.
  • Oversee office amenities, including cleaning, catering, and furniture management.
  • Coordinate scheduled testing and compliance checks.
  • Facilitate office relocations and refurbishments.
  • Respond to urgent issues related to IT infrastructure and facilities.
  • Assist in the development of capital investment and budget plans for IT and facilities.
  • Authorize vendor invoices and monitor expenditures against budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the organization’s sustainability goals in all operational activities.
  • Lead a small team of IT and facilities coordinators, fostering a collaborative work environment.
