Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance operations, managing the maintenance budget and capital expenditures to enhance financial efficiency.
- Lead a dedicated team of maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence in equipment inspection and troubleshooting, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, actively seeking innovative methods to optimize resource utilization.
- Establish and maintain effective data management systems to facilitate informed decision-making regarding expenditures and maintenance timelines.
- Utilize KPIs and SLAs to ensure optimal operational performance and a responsive repair service for our facilities.
- Administer a comprehensive planned maintenance program to reduce equipment downtime, conduct Root Cause Analysis for recurring issues, and devise engineered solutions.
- Stay updated on health, safety, and environmental legislation, ensuring that all team members are informed of relevant changes.
- Identify underperforming assets for assessment, propose business improvement initiatives, and assist in drafting business case documents.
- Determine training needs for staff, develop local operating procedures, and contribute to employee development.
- Report any safety or environmental concerns to management and relevant support teams.
- Support a mobile maintenance technician servicing additional locations.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and utilizing detailed maintenance KPIs at both site and regional levels, focusing on expenditure, performance, and safety.
- Proven success in implementing effective Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systems.
- Experience in formulating a maintenance strategy across multiple locations, including inventory management, equipment safety, servicing, and lifecycle replacement.
