Become an integral part of our team at Holland and Barrett, where you will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to international trade regulations for our diverse range of wellness products. Collaborating closely with the Head of International Trade, you will serve as a leading authority on global legislation pertaining to food product compliance, facilitating seamless cross-border operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remain informed about international trade regulations, particularly concerning animal-derived, organic, and high-risk products.
  • Comprehend the EU trade operational agreements and product classification systems.
  • Guarantee compliance for exports to major markets including the EU, China, Australia, and the USA.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with regulatory authorities to ensure legal compliance for products crossing borders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation in line with international food safety standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to improve compliance protocols.
  • Work in conjunction with the Export Data team to ensure effective compliance management.

Job Location: Nuneaton

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in product compliance within the wellness or food sector.
  • Thorough understanding of global regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in a related field, particularly during significant regulatory changes, is beneficial.
  • Degree in Regulatory Affairs, International Food Law, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Proven capacity to collaborate effectively and foster a positive team environment.
