About the Role

Holland & Barrett International Limited is a leading wellness retailer and one of the largest in Europe. We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Tax Compliance: Prepare the group's UK corporate tax returns using Onesource software, including group relief and CIR calculations, capital allowances, and R&D lead.
  • Year-End Tax Provision Calculations: Prepare year-end tax provision calculations and periodic balance sheet review process.
  • BEPS Pillar 2 Compliance: Assess BEPS Pillar 2 compliance requirements, including building necessary calculations, working closely with finance and other key stakeholders.
  • International Tax Compliance: Manage all other corporate tax compliance requirements for the group, working closely with advisors across the countries in which we operate (Ireland, Netherlands, and Belgium).
  • Transfer Pricing: Document and calculate transfer pricing.
  • Employment Tax Compliance: Assist with employment tax compliance matters, such as PSA and ERS filings.
  • Internal Risk Management: Maintain ongoing compliance with internal risk management policies and identify process improvements within the Group, including SAO reviews.
  • Tax Authority Communication: Communicate with HMRC and other tax authorities as required.
Requirements
  • Tax Qualification: Must be tax qualified with CTA, ICAEW/ICAS, or recognized equivalent with relevant experience.
  • Corporate Tax Skills: Strong corporate tax skills, including experience of international tax.
  • Tax Compliance Software: Proficiency in Onesource or similar tax compliance software.
  • Tax Accounting Skills: Strong tax accounting skillset.
  • BEPS Pillar 2 Knowledge: Knowledge of BEPS Pillar 2 is useful.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Communication: Good communicator.
  • IT Skills: Excellent IT skills, including data manipulation.
  • Process Improvement: Interest in process and process improvement.
