Tax Compliance Specialist

As a Tax Compliance Specialist at EA First Compass House, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's tax matters are in order. This includes liaising with external tax advisors, submitting PAYE settlement agreements, and working to improve data. You will also be responsible for corporation tax computations, using OneSource Tax Software, as well as preparation and review of supporting schedules. Additionally, you will calculate the quarterly payment on accounts due for corporation tax, collect information from other group companies to enable accurate CT600 returns, and ensure compliance with IR35, including contract assessments. You will also maintain and update the tax risk register.
The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrable experience of HMRC submissions and Corporation Tax, as well as employment taxes and VAT. A competitive day rate and hybrid working arrangement are offered.
