Job Title: District Nurse Team Manager

Are you a skilled nurse looking for a challenging role in community nursing? We have an exciting opportunity for a District Nurse Team Manager to join our team in Plymouth, South Hams, or West Devon.

As a District Nurse Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of community nurses and HCAs, providing caseload supervision, and responding to incidents and safeguarding concerns. You will also collaborate regularly with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and care providers.

We are looking for a nurse with at least 3 years of experience in a senior clinical role, with experience of managing a team of staff, including caseload management. You should have a strong understanding of community nursing skills, including knowledge of chronic disease management, and be able to use IMT support systems.

Requirements:

  • Registered level 1 Nurse
  • Specialist qualification in District Nursing or postgraduate diploma/degree level study related to health
  • Recognised Management qualification or courses
  • Ability to travel across the city
