Nursery Office Coordinator

Location: Brentwood

Hours: 20-40 hours (flexible for full and part-time applicants)

Salary: £15ph +

We are collaborating with a nursery in Brentwood, Essex, seeking a dedicated Nursery Office Coordinator to become part of their exceptional team.

The nursery proudly holds an "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted, featuring bright and spacious rooms equipped with excellent resources, including a large outdoor area for children to learn and explore.


Role Overview:
To deliver effective administrative support to the nursery and Nursery Manager, ensuring a high standard of customer service both internally and externally by managing daily administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the manager in offering new nursery placements, promoting additional sessions, and managing changes in booking patterns.
2. Address parent inquiries or concerns, providing solutions where feasible.
3. Oversee and manage care bookings and inquiries.
4. Adhere to the nursery's organizational policies and procedures.
5. Ensure that files are maintained and up to date.
6. Verify that parent invoices are accurate, including discounts, and communicate with parents regarding payments.
7. Utilize systems efficiently and effectively.
8. Contribute ideas and suggestions for enhancing nursery performance.
9. Collect monthly invoices.
10. Manage tasks related to funding and headcount.
11. Support the Nursery Manager with additional administrative duties, including report writing.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a nursery setting is advantageous.
- Background in customer service is beneficial.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone.
- Demonstrated success in resolving customer issues.
- Capability to make informed decisions based on data and information.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational abilities.
- Proficient computer skills for managing daily tasks - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Data Entry.
- Maintain confidentiality in line with GDPR regulations.
- Experience in an Early Years administrative role is desirable but not mandatory.

Desirable Qualities:
- A qualification in Childcare would be advantageous.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (must be willing to undergo a DBS check if not on the update service).
