About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Design Engineering Manager to lead our product development team at Dover Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the design and development of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage a global team of design engineers, designers, and drafters, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Product Development: Oversee the design and development of our products, ensuring they meet customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes to improve product development timelines, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to ensure effective communication and alignment on product development goals and objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our product development processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or other relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in product development, with at least 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a global team. Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as AutoCAD and Inventor, and experience with PLM systems.
