Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at EC&I Partners Limited. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop clear and concise drawing and document packs for electrical systems
  • Carry out cable calculations, I.S Loop Calculations (DSDs), AC and DC load schedules, lighting calculations, and thermal capacity calculations
  • Advise junior design engineers on engineering principles and guidelines
  • Work closely with site-based engineers and commissioning engineers to improve standards and provide a comprehensive design
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in electrical design engineering
  • Degree-qualified or time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering
  • Experience working on designs for hazardous areas installations and CompEX EX01-EX04 and/or EX12 modules
  • Knowledge and experience of electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 (18th Edition)
