Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering department in ensuring the effective creation and delivery of packages that support customer purchases. The successful candidate will have experience in leading a team and change management, with a strong background in engineering principles and technical knowledge.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Engineering department and workload
- Support in designing functional processes around the creation, review, and update of engineering documentation and master data maintenance
- Build effective processes to design, create, and maintain Installation BOMs
- Manage and develop Installation works instructions and installation manuals
- Develop continuous improvement processes for engineering, installation, and service processes
- Lead personal development of the team, including coaching, training, and performance management
- Monitor and ensure business compliance with UK regulations and standards within the industries we operate
- Provide product training to Sales Teams and applicational advice to Dealers/Approved installers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Engineering principles and technical knowledge
- Experience with Lorry loader/Crane/HGV would be an advantage
- Experience in managing a team and ability to develop individuals
- IT skills, including MS Office, Salesforce, Google Platform, and the SAP ERP System
- Communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Driving license - occasional national travel
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
