About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at British Garden Centres. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet customer demand
  • Manage kitchen inventory and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and specials
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes and excellent customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from senior staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
