About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a prestigious rural country inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus that showcase the best of local, seasonal produce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs to achieve exceptional results
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, budgeting, and staff scheduling
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our culinary offerings

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a high-end kitchen, preferably with a Rosette or Michelin standard
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on local, seasonal produce and modern techniques
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Knowledge of kitchen management, costings, and inventory control
