Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at British Garden Centres. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals to order, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, working closely with our restaurant manager.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a busy restaurant or catering environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on presentation and flavor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
