About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at the Market Hall Museum and Market Hall Café. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and welcoming environment, ensuring that the café and museum areas are well-presented and ready for visitors.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments.
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and revenue growth by promoting our products and services to customers.

Requirements

  • Confident and friendly communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
