Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified professionals such as Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists to take on the role of Functional Assessors. This position is designed to provide a balanced work-life environment while fostering professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will deepen your medical expertise by engaging with a variety of health conditions. Your duties will include:
- Conducting thorough file assessments
- Performing in-person evaluations
- Facilitating telephone and video consultations with clients regarding benefit entitlements
- Preparing comprehensive reports to support decision-making processes for benefit claims
Work Schedule:
The position is full-time, operating Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with options for part-time work available. The salary for this role ranges from £39,000 to £41,500 annually.
Training and Development:
Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped for the responsibilities of the role. You will also have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, support for revalidation, and potential career advancement.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of post-registration experience as a Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist
- Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or equivalent)
- Excellent observational and communication skills
- A typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
