The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Business Unit by ensuring the delivery of high-quality custom imaging solutions, Front End electronics, and Optical Systems to esteemed clients.

With a strong customer-centric focus, the Quality Assurance Specialist's primary responsibility is to guarantee that client expectations are consistently met or surpassed through meticulous project planning and oversight. In instances of discrepancies, the specialist will lead thorough investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Key Responsibilities - Quality Assurance Specialist - Space Imaging

  • Define and guide the product assurance and compliance requirements for new initiatives and products
  • Support design, testing, and manufacturing readiness evaluations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Enhance the assembly, verification, validation, and testing stages of projects
  • Communicate quality requirements to clients and the supply chain
  • Facilitate reviews mandated by clients
  • Assist in conducting risk-based internal and external audits
  • Manage the administration of permits, concessions, and non-conformance reports.

Qualifications - Quality Assurance Specialist - Space Imaging

  • Proven experience in a Product/Quality Assurance capacity, ideally within the space, aerospace, or defense sectors
  • Background in the design and production of electro-mechanical components and systems, with additional experience in assemblies, electronics, and software being advantageous
  • Familiarity with high-reliability components and materials
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptable and flexible mindset
