Your Role: A Beacon of Support for Women's Mental Wellbeing
As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in empowering women on their journey to recovery. You will work autonomously, under the guidance of a Registered Practitioner Psychologist, providing comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual's needs.
Your Responsibilities: Making a Difference Every Day
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments to understand clients' unique challenges and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver structured, evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support for clients.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and interventions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and referring agencies to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Your Qualifications: A Foundation of Expertise and Compassion
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- A professional qualification as a Clinical Associate Psychologist or an equivalent Mental Health Practitioner qualification.
- Membership with the British Psychological Society or an equivalent professional registration.
- Experience working within adult mental health services and providing psychological interventions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine commitment to supporting women's mental wellbeing and empowering them on their path to recovery.
