Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Communications Director to join our team at HSS Hire Group. As a key member of our Executive Leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a communications strategy that supports our business goals and objectives.
  • Provide strategic advice to our Executive Leadership team on media relations, crisis communication, and public affairs.
  • Lead the communications strategy for confidential transformation projects that may impact colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that communications and branding are aligned.
  • Partner with CEOs and Executive Leadership members to develop, manage, and streamline communication plans that inspire colleagues and enhance colleague engagement.
  • Oversee the content development and maintenance of our company intranet.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in developing and implementing communication strategies and supporting change programs.
  • Notable previous experience of supporting Board-level communications in a PLC environment, with extensive knowledge of AIM Rules, reporting regulations, and disclosure requirements.
  • Ability to establish trusted relationships with Executive Leadership teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt communication plans and content style for a range of audiences and leadership styles.
  • Ability to pivot plans at short notice and stamina to overcome challenges and identify solutions in a fast-paced environment.
