About the Role

Robert Walters is seeking a highly experienced Interim Finance Director to join our client's senior leadership team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company's financial future and driving transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's growth and transformation objectives.
  • Advise on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management to ensure the company's financial health and stability.
  • Lead the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and investment opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and statutory reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financing arrangements to optimize the company's financial performance.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the finance team to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles, with a strong track record of strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Experience in the online/digital sector or real estate industry undergoing transformation is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
