About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in Northampton. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer medication as required
  • Support with meal preparation and cooking
  • Accompany individuals to medical appointments
  • Engage in social activities and support independent skills
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean living environment
  • Keep accurate records and update care plans as necessary
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills in English
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
