Role: Support Worker

Salary: 14 per hour

Location: Northampton, Kettering and surrounging areas.

Job Type: Full Time/ Part Time

Shifts on offer : Day Shifts 8am - 8pm, Night Shifts 8pm - 8am

Shifts Times are set times, but Monday to Sunday flexibility on offer depending on availability.

About the Role

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Support Worker area can support a Young Male service user transitioning into his own home who has Autism and Challenging behaviour. Our Support Worker roles are considered more of a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within his own and especially within the community.

He has limited communication and would need prompts for personal care. You will then need to communicate with him effectively and appropriately, whilst also giving him the opportunity to communicate his needs as well.

Requirements for the Role

Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are looking for an outgoing bubbly candidate, who can show their best assets on providing the highest quality of support.

  • A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
  • Autism and Learning Disabilities experience preferred but not a mandatory need.
  • To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
