Care Managers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to children, young people, and families within the Northamptonshire Children's Trust system.

As a Court Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, conducting thorough assessments, and implementing appropriate interventions based on best practices. Your work will directly impact the well-being of vulnerable individuals and contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Effectively manage a diverse caseload involving children, young people, and families.
  • Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs of children and families.
  • Interventions: Develop and implement tailored interventions to address identified needs and promote positive outcomes.
  • Reviews: Regularly review case progress and ensure interventions meet established standards.
  • Direct Work: Engage directly with children, young people, and families to build rapport and provide support.
Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • A Certified Qualification in Social Work (CQSW), Certificate in Social Service (CSS), or Diploma in Social Work (SWSP).
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council on the Social Care Register.
  • Proven experience working with children, young people, and families within a social work setting.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practices.
