Position Title:
Waking Nights Support Worker (Temporary to Permanent)

Employment Type:
Temporary to permanent

Compensation:
Starting at £11.50 per hour

Shift Schedule:
8:30 PM to 8:30 AM - Full-time, 37.5 hours per week on a 3-week rolling rota or pro rata.

About the Organization:
Our client is a committed provider of support services for individuals with learning disabilities, catering to adults aged 18 and above. They specialize in residential care and respite services, recognized for their dedication to delivering individualized care and support.

Role Overview:
As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the welfare and security of our clients throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering support that enhances the health and well-being of the individuals in your care.
  • Implementing and contributing to personalized support plans.
  • Assisting with personal care, housing support, health requirements (including medication management), personal growth, emotional support, and community engagement.

Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals who demonstrate the following attributes:
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviors.
  • Possession of Level 2 or 3 qualifications in health and social care, or the willingness and capability to obtain this within a specified timeframe upon joining.
  • The ability to start on a temporary basis and transition to a permanent role after an agreed period.
