Job Title: Course Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Course Administrator to support the administration of the MPhil programme in Data Intensive Science.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Course Coordinator and Course Director to ensure the smooth operation of the MPhil programme. This will involve coordinating teaching and examinations, supporting the admission process, and acting as the first point of contact for students on the programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate teaching and examinations for the MPhil programme
  • Support the admission process, including handling over 500 applications
  • Act as the first point of contact for students on the programme
  • Provide administrative support to the Course Coordinator and Course Director
Requirements

The successful candidate will be qualified to HND/HNC, Level 4/5 vocational qualifications or have equivalent level of practical experience in administration. They will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of the Higher Education sector, particularly the postgraduate environment, is desirable.

Working Environment

The MPhil DIS is based in the Maxwell Centre, with most teaching activities held at the newly built state-of-the-art dynamic buildings at the West Hub, Cambridge.
