Credit Control Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee a team of Credit Controllers, ensuring they exhibit exemplary behaviors and achieve collective objectives to enhance the overall team performance.
• Evaluate performance metrics to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses in the ledger and team efficiency, presenting insights to the Head of Operations.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and ensure that development plans are established for each team member.
• Engage confidently with internal stakeholders to facilitate service delivery and manage risks effectively.
• Proactively seek to improve customer satisfaction through process evaluations and staff training initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements through process modifications, including needs assessment, planning, training, and implementation.
• Assist in exploring innovative technologies that can enhance operational efficiency across various functions.

Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience in leadership and Credit Control.
• Comprehensive understanding of Invoice Finance, with specific experience in this area preferred.
• Capability to implement change at both tactical and strategic levels.
• Knowledge of resolving operational challenges, including escalation protocols.
• Strong communication skills across all levels, with the ability to cultivate and nurture stakeholder relationships.
• Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as interaction with clients is a key component of the role.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to effectively drive performance and enhance employee satisfaction scores.
• Attention to detail with a proven track record of identifying trends and resolving issues.
• Awareness of the risks inherent in the role and their implications for the organization and stakeholders.
