About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pension Accounts Administrator to join our team at Equiniti. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, and maintaining high-quality accounting records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Accounts Administration service to clients in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Operate, maintain, and reconcile client accounting records
  • Process a wide range of routine and non-routine payment transactions and documentation within defined procedures
  • Use internet banking for information gathering and electronic payments in local and foreign currencies
  • Prepare cheque and credit transfer disbursements and effect payments
  • Resolve customer enquiries based on competent working knowledge of customer requirements
  • Reconcile bank accounts and banking records
  • Prepare periodical reports on reconciliation results
  • Input customer details and access customer information
  • Collate and analyse data to produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries
Requirements
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade B and above
  • Accounting or Accounts Administration qualification or qualified by experience
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • A quick learner and good team player
  • Ability to develop working relationships
  • Ability to work within laid-down processes and procedures
  • Use of a computerised accounting system
  • Basic financial awareness of pension rules, regulations, and current legislation
  • Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience in an Accounts or Administration environment
  • Experience of dealing with external clients working to SLAs
