Job Summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Group Statutory Reporting Accountant to join our team on a 100% remote basis for a 3-6 month period. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the accounting for approximately 800 leases across the Group under IFRS 16.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with businesses on lease accounting and manage leases within the Iris software.
  • Prepare necessary adjustments for the transition from IAS 17 to IFRS 16.
  • Reconcile reports from Iris Innervision to HFM and prepare journal entries for all Group leases at the Group level.
  • Play a crucial role in preparing and producing three sets of Group audited consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Address challenges such as business acquisitions, disposals, and restructures.
  • Provide technical and logistical support to the Group Financial Controller on various Group Finance projects.

Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant with extensive IFRS 16 lease accounting experience.
