Position: IT Support Engineer - 2nd & 3rd Line

Compensation: £40K + Benefits Package

Location: West London - Onsite

This role is integral to a prestigious educational institution, providing essential support to over 35 staff members and 100 students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT support, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to users.
  • Manage and configure MacOS and iOS devices in an Apple and JAMF environment.
  • Support Office 365 and Google Workspace applications.
  • Assist with the maintenance and deployment of end-user devices, including Windows laptops, desktops, iPads, and tablets.
  • Handle hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage networking issues, including TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, and SSL, with knowledge of wireless switches.
  • Utilize Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like JAMF.
  • Support audio/visual equipment, including projectors and interactive displays.
  • Implement security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, web filters, and security policies.
  • Provide support for VOIP communications and telephony systems.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

Working Hours:

This is an on-site position during term time, with hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. During school holidays, hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with some flexibility for remote work.

Benefits:
