Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at Blusource Professional Services Ltd. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance department in key areas such as Sales and Purchase Ledger, as well as Credit Control functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Administration: Process purchase and sales invoices, credit notes, and gather details for new projects and processing payments.
- Run debtor reports and perform bank reconciliations.
- Process credit card expenses and verify all relevant receipts.
- Assist the credit control function to resolve any queries.
- Reconcile supplier statements and manage VAT returns.
- Run supplier payment processes.
- Assist senior finance staff with projects and ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- Good understanding of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Credit Control.
- Positive working attitude, embracing change and development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively, particularly when working to tight deadlines.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience within a finance department.
