About the RoleAs a Research Assistant in Adsorbent Development, you will work with a diverse team and receive supervision from experienced research scientists. Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing experiments related to Research Development projects
- Developing methodologies and techniques for experiment completion
- Accurate record keeping and reporting of results
You will contribute to the evaluation of bioseparation products used for the purification of therapeutic biomolecules. Your tasks will include:
- Performing experiments to support product and applications work
- Producing protein, nucleic acids, and viral vectors feedstocks
- Developing and executing downstream processes and analytical investigation
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting practical experimental work
- Evaluating results from experiments, including analytical interpretation and statistical analysis
- Documenting experiments in writeups and technical reports
- Presenting experimental data to RD project teams and other internal departments
- Routine equipment maintenance
- Upholding health and safety requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Enthusiasm for chemistry and a desire to learn
