Director of Paraplanning

Succession Wealth is seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Paraplanning to lead our Paraplanning teams in delivering high-quality, efficient services to our clients.

About the Role

This newly created role will be responsible for ensuring that our Paraplanning teams meet the evolving needs of our clients as our business grows. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial planning and a proven track record of successfully leading Paraplanning teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Paraplanning function, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Champion Succession's Vision and Values across Paraplanning and the wider organisation.
  • Grow and develop the Paraplanning team, working with Managers and Learning & Development to identify and address development needs.
  • Operational management of the Paraplanning function, continuously reviewing and improving processes to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Line manage, motivate, and develop Paraplanning Managers.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and leaders across the business to ensure commercial objectives and quality standards are met.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within the financial planning industry.
  • Experience of managing a Paraplanning function or team.
  • CII Level 4 qualified as a minimum, Chartered status preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial planning/paraplanning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for knowledge sharing and a commitment to professional development.
  • A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
