Luxury Yacht Sales Consultant

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility to operate both remotely and from our London office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and facilitating transactions for a worldwide clientele, both wholesale and retail, from developing effective market strategies to collaborating with our support team on documentation.
  • Conducting strategic meetings and insurer presentations in the London market to ensure superior client service and market leadership.
  • Evaluating client risks, crafting underwriting presentations, and reviewing insurance documents prepared by the support team.
  • Actively driving portfolio expansion by forging new connections, presenting to clients, and securing contracts.
  • Building and nurturing market relationships to bolster the global brokerage strategy.
  • Collaborating closely with yacht clients to uphold international best practices.
  • Opportunities for travel, including speaking engagements at conferences on behalf of Aon.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Proven experience in yacht brokerage, Hull & Machinery, and Protection & Indemnity.
  • Familiarity with yacht specifications, manufacturers, models, engines, moorings, and the intricacies of vessels across various price points.
  • Expertise in line slip and facility protocols.
  • Comprehensive understanding of yacht market dynamics and challenges.
  • Knowledge of cross-selling strategies.
  • Proficient in technical terminology and negotiation techniques.
  • Understanding of Sanctions/KYC/Governance.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Strong background in brokerage with an emphasis on pipeline and revenue management.
